Cover art redesign of the Grouplove album “Big Mess.” Like the band’s sound, I wanted the typography and colors to be a more modern take on the ’60s psychedelic aesthetic.
Starting with my favorite typeface, Futura, I made small tweaks until achieving the look I had in mind. After that, I experimented with different color palettes and layouts, which eventually led to the final result.
